Armani Hotel Dubai brings out the bunting and waves the British flag as the world marks the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. Radisson Hotel Dubai DAMAC Hills will celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee by offering a free drink in exchange for any coin with Queen Elizabeth on it. So, if you have a currency from Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, Canada, Jamaica, New Zealand or the United Kingdom, you can exchange it for a free juniper based beverage. Saturday 4 June, from 12pm.

In celebration of Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee, Hotel Indigo Dubai Downtown will be hosting a special afternoon tea to mark the occasion. The royal afternoon tea will include a selection of classic British treats, including cucumber finger sandwiches, sausage rolls, homemade Victorian Sponge, artisan cakes and scones served on a tiered stand. There is perhaps nowhere more appropriate to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee than aboard the QE2, which is now permanently docked in Dubai. The vessel will be hosting a celebratory dinner in the Queen’s Ballroom this weekend. Entertainment will be provided by a Royal Marines Corps of Drums, a piper and a military band, who have flown over for the celebrations.
